Summer sounds at The Amphitheater

0

The Preble County Historical Society planned a night of blues and rock guitar sounds, welcoming Bauner Chafin and Scotty Bratcher to the Amphitheater on Saturday, Aug. 14. Unfortunately, some uninvited rain put a damper on the evening. Chafin was able to perform a limited set before the rain set in. The Eaton-area native has been playing guitar since his early teens and currently plays area concerts with a three-piece band. The focus of the group’s music is Chafin’s edgy guitar and vocals. Bratcher, a Preble Shawnee graduate, was unable to perform. The PCHS has one remaining musical event planned for this summer. On Saturday, Aug. 24, classic rock music from The Growlers will kick things off, following by more rock and blues tunes from Jay Jesse Johnson and Angela Combs. Local performer Ciera Flory will perform an acoustic set between the performances.
