Saturday, April 30

Book Sale

1-4 p.m. at the EldoradoLibrary

It’s the last day for the Eldorado Library’s book sale! Be sure to stop in at 150 S. Main St. and check out the selection of used fiction, nonfiction, and children’s books.

Monday, May 2

Crocheting with Kathy

5:30 p.m. at the West Alexandria Library

Having problems with a crochet project? Want to learn something new? Join us the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month and our staff member Kathy will help you. Watch for times when special techniques and projects may be made

Teens: Pokken Tournament

6 p.m. at the New Paris Library

Want to try the newly released Pokkén Tournament game on the Wii U? We’re going to play tournament style and the best playing Teen is going to walk away with Ash’s hat! Everyone wins a prize. Also, eat snacks! For grades 6-12.

Tuesday, April 3

Teens: Anime Club

3:30 p.m. at the Eaton Library

Watch anime, try Japanese snacks, and make anime- and manga-inspired crafts at the Eaton Library’s monthly Anime Club for grades 6-12. Registration is required. Register in person at the library or call 937-456-4331.

Wednesday, April 4

National Firefighters’ Day

12-7 p.m. at the West Alexandria Library

Visit the library today and make a card to be given to our local Fire Department to show them our appreciation for what they do.

Thursday, April 5

Tween Filmmakers Club

4-5:30 p.m. at the Eldorado Library

Want to make a live-action short movie? This club is for you! We will learn to create scripts, act out scenes, use a green screen, edit film, and much more! Light snacks will be provided. For ages 8-12. Registration is required for the four-week program. We’ll make a film on May 5, 12, and 19, and on May 26, we’ll have a viewing party for the filmmakers and families. Adult Crafting: Doodling

6:30 p.m. at the Eaton Library

Whether you call it Zentangle or Zen doodle, it just simply fun! And relaxing! Start with a simple shape, repeat. Add a line, repeat. Continue until you are lost in the process.
