Preble County Park District summer events continue

LEWISBURG — Mark your calendars for Saturday July 25, from 7-9 p.m. for the Rum River Blend at the Preble County Park District’s Garber Nature Center. Bring a chair and the family to enjoy some live bluegrass music with beautiful scenic views in the park.

Then on Aug. 22, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. come down and enjoy some more live music. Berachah Valley is a band known for their bluegrass, country, and gospel music. Berachah Valley has played in many different states and has been on the radio and television. Bring the family and friends for a fu- filled live music event.

One of the last summer events is Saturday, Sept. 5, from 1-3 p.m. Come and learn from real naturalists how different animals build their homes. Then have the opportunity to build your own wild life home. Bring a pair of gloves and learn to gather limbs and sticks to build a home out in the wild.

All events are free, but donations are accepted to benefit the park. Children have to be accompanied by and adult. For more information visit www.preblecountyparkdistrict.org .
