The Oxford Museum Association held its annual Apple Butter Festival, Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 1-2, at Hueston Woods Pioneer Farm, outside Oxford. The festival showcased apple butter making, wool spinning, blacksmithing demonstrations, kettle corn, funnel cakes and other food service; pioneer crafts, alpacas, fall produce and more. East Fork Junction entertained the crowds with bluegrass music both days. The Apple Butter Festival is just one in a list of fall festivals Preble and Butler County residents invited the public to attend each autumn. Next up: Oktoberfest in West Alexandria.
