The following information has been provided by area police departments. The information listed in this column is considered public record and is available to anyone seeking information concerning what is provided below.

For purposes of this column, the term “arrested” or “charged” does not necessarily mean the person was taken into physical custody. It could also indicate that a summons was issued to the subject in lieu of physical custody.

All the people listed as “arrested” or “charged” are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Thursday, Oct. 5, Englewood 230001638: A 16-year-old female was charged with domestic violence in the 400 block of E. Wenger Rd., and transported to the juvenile detention center.

Monday, Oct. 9, Englewood 230001655: Ronald W. Henry, 25, of Dayton 45417, was charged with criminal damaging at Meijer. He was issued a court summons and released.

Englewood 230001657: Police were dispatched to Family Dollar on a disorderly subject that was trying to steal items and had threatened store staff. Dalejandro L. Groves, 53, of Dayton 45406, was arrested on a felony warrant and transported to jail.

Englewood 230001658: Stephanie A. Satterfield, 35, of Englewood, was charged with control of dogs and issued a court summons.

Englewood 230001659: Shawn C. Harris, 46, of Englewood, was charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated and possession of drug paraphernalia and transported to jail.

Tuesday, Oct. 10, Englewood 230001664: Angelina T. Hill, 45, of Englewood, was arrested on a felony warrant out of Montgomery County Common Pleas Court and transported to jail.

Friday, Oct. 13, Clayton 230001208: The attempted theft of a motor vehicle was investigated in the 6000 block of Rangeview Dr.

Englewood 230001677: Destiny N. Coffey, 22, of Englewood, was charged with domestic violence and transported to jail.

Sunday, Oct. 15, Clayton 230001212: An unknown subject entered an unlocked vehicle on Kinsey Road and removed approximately $20 in cash. The suspect left his cell phone inside the vehicle. Police were able to use information from the phone to locate a photo of the suspect online and matched it to his driver’s license.

Clayton 230001213: Dallas Hopkins III, 27, of Fairfield, was charged with expired license, driving under OVI suspension, driving without a valid license, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to jail.

Clayton 230001214: Amanda M. Bryant, 40, of Fairfield Township, was arrested on a warrant out of Butler County. Bryant was taken into custody and turned over to a deputy of the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

Monday, Nov. 6, Brookville 2300471: A resident reported that her Amazon account had been hacked and her American Express and 5th/3rd credit cards had been fraudulently used. Five separate charges were made totaling more than $1,578. All of the charged items were sent to three people in Flushing, NY. Police were unable to locate anyone associated with those names and the victim does not know any of the three people that the items were delivered to. The victim contacted Amazon which could not provide any information on the location of the people that received the items or tracking information for the products ordered. Amazon restored and secured her account and the credit card companies refunded her money.

Brookville 2300473: Police responded to an accident at the Brookville Local Schools bus barn. A mechanic was backing a bus out of the garage and struck a Chevy Silverado breaking the driver’s side headlight and denting the hood. The mechanic notified the owner of the truck of the damage. The transportation supervisor provided the school’s insurance information to the victim to file a claim.

Brookville 2300474: A male juvenile at Brookville High School was charged with possession of marijuana paraphernalia and released to his mother. Charges were forwarded to juvenile court.

Brookville 2300476: An officer pulled a vehicle over Carr Drive for speeding and detected an odor of burnt marijuana after speaking with the driver. The officer observed a half-smoked marijuana cigarette in an ash tray cup in the center cup holder. Evelyn S. Peterson, 34, of Dayton 45417, was charged with speeding and drug abuse – marijuana, issued a court summons and released.

Wednesday, Nov. 8, Brookville 2300478: An unknown subject damaged three sections of the black wrought iron fence in front of the Spitler House. One piece of the fence was completely broken off and was found in the grass.
