EUCC Christmas Tea

Eaton United Church of Christ will host its second annual Ladies Christmas Tea on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 11 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. The event will feature over 20 ladies playing Christmas Carols on hammered dulcimers. Cost of the event, which includes chicken salad, ham salad, bagels, coffee cake, tea and coffee, is $3. Advent season at Somerville

Somerville Community Church will enter the Advent season Sunday, Dec. 2, with praise and worship songs by music group Rising Faith. Pastor Mark Crary will be bring the Advent sermon titled, “A Fig Tree Sprouts Leaves.” The church is located at 207 South Walnut Street in Somerville. Sunday service is at 10 a.m. All welcome. The Journey of Christmas

First Baptist Church of Eaton, located at 1308 N. Maple Street, will be presenting a Christmas musical entitled “The Journey of Christmas” on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 4 p.m. Prior to the performance, a nativity petting zoo will be held from 3-4 p.m. These events are free of charge and open to all.

The Light of Christmas in Camden

Join the First Southern Baptist Church of Camden for “The Light of Christmas,” a multi- generational celebration of the birth of Christ, on Saturday, Dec. 15, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 16, at 10:30 a.m. On Sunday night, Dec. 23, join the church at 6 p.m. for a night of caroling, hot chocolate , and sloppy joes. There is also a 5 p.m. Christmas Eve Candlelight Service. Pastor Greg Jackson and the church family invite all to come and celebrate the birth of Christ. Seeking the Light

The members of the Wares Chapel UMC extend an invitation to all for the special Christmas presentation, “Seeking the Light.” Seeking the Light will be performed on Sunday night, Dec. 16, beginning at 7 p.m. There will be a time of Christian fellowship after the program. Wares Chapel is located at 1060 Foos Rd., West Manchester. All facilities are handicapped-accessible.

Awana Bible Club

Awana Bible Club meets weekly at 6:30 p.m. at First Southern Baptist Church in Camden. Youth and adult Bible studies also take place. Pastor Greg Jackson welcomes all.

Visitation CC Community Dinners

Visitation Catholic Church, B.V.M., 401 East Main Street, Eaton, will hold its community dinners on the following days: Nov. 29, and Dec. 27. The meals are held usually on the last Thursday of the month in the church hall, to the rear of the church. The hall, which is handicap accessible, may be entered off the parking lot. There is no charge for the meal. Anyone is welcome. Questions, call 456-3380. Meals are served from 4-5:30 p.m. in the church hall.

CUMC breakfast

Camden United Methodist Church’s “All You Can Eat Breakfast,” will be held the fourth Saturday of every month, 7-11 a.m. Cost is $6.

Gospel Light Baptist Church
