Oxford Toastmasters awarded gold medal in District 40 competition

OXFORD — Oxford Toastmasters Club was awarded the first Place Gold Medal in the District 40 VPPR & VPM Membership Olympic Contest for “Best of all Three Categories.” Contest winners were announced April 22, at the District 40 Spring Conference held in Columbus. District 40 Toastmasters proudly serves parts of Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and West Virginia.

The purpose of the contest was to help the Vice President of Public Relations (VPPR) and the Vice President of Membership (VPM) publicize Toastmasters and build club membership. The contest ran from Dec. 1, 2016 to March 15. Clubs who competed in all three categories were eligible to go for the gold!

Oxford Toastmasters claimed four District level awards and Toastmaster International Gift Certificates totaling $200: first place and gold medal winner for Best of all Three Categories — $50 gift certificate,first place best club website/external communications — $75 gift certificate, second place best club newsletter/internal communications — $50 gift certificate, and third place membership drive/ new member recruitment — $25 gift certificate.
