EATON — Moving Forward After the Loss of a Loved One: Do you sometimes feel lost in your grief? Are you overwhelmed with feelings of sadness and negative thoughts or emotions? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, join us for a session discussing grief and healing with State of the Heart Hospice on Thursday, Nov. 15, at 10 a.m. at the senior activities center.

Dessert Auction: It’s that time of year again to stop in, have fun, and bid on scrumptious desserts for your holiday celebration. Join us Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 2 p.m. for our annual dessert auction. Money raised goes toward PCCOA Programs. Thanks to Lawn Plus for sponsoring.

Victoria Tea: Join us for a Christmas Victoria Tea on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. at the senior activities center. Guest Speaker, Pam Barr will be speaking on the history of high tea. There will be a menu of assorted foods and your choice of teas. Please wear your favorite hat and bring your own tea cup. $20 members, $25 nonmembers. Call to reserve your spot, 937-456-4947

Holiday Food Drive: We are accepting food and monetary donations for our annual food baskets. These baskets will be distributed Dec. 20 to Preble County Seniors in need. Applications to receive a holiday food basket can be filled out at the senior activities center. Call to find out our list of non-perishable food items that we need, 937-456-4947.

Thursday Night Weekly Dance – Dance My Way: The Thursday Night Dance is held from 5-8 p.m. at The Grange at 501 Nation Avenue, Eaton. The Silvertones, a local band from Camden, will provide an enjoyable evening of classic rock & roll and country music for your listening and dancing pleasure. The dance features delicious food, with a $1 menu, a 50/50 drawing, and door prizes. Admission is $3 per individual/$5 per couple. Join us for a fun evening! No dance, Thursday, Nov. 22 due to Thanksgiving.

The King and I at The Schuster Theatre: Anna and the King have a clash of personalities as she works to teach the royal family about the English language, customs, etiquette, and rushes to prepare a party for a group of European diplomats who must change their opinions about the King. Cruise to Ireland, Iceland, & Scotland: On May 6-16, 2019, we will be travelling to Dublin, Ireland, Belfast, Northern Ireland, Reykjavik, Iceland, Akureyri, Iceland, and Lerwick Scotland with so much to see and do with Celebrity Cruises. Final payment is due Jan. 5, 2019.
