EATON — A Preble County grand jury returned the following indictments during a Monday, Jan. 7 session.

Jarrell G. Smith, 6356 Forestdale Avenue, Dayton, carrying concealed weapon with specification and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle; Chad L. Peterson, 709 E. High St., Eaton, two counts operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse or a combination of them with specification, driving under OVI suspension and operating a motor vehicle or agricultural tractor without being in control of it.

Also: William D. Dawson, 220 E. Orchard St., B, West Manchester, having weapons while under disability and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle; Christopher C. Lawson, 312 S. High St., West Manchester, receiving stolen property and aggravated possession of drugs; Keith Marshall Taylor, at large, receiving stolen property, forgery and petty theft; Keith Marshall Taylor, at large, aggravated possession of drugs and unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Also: Brian Zacchaeus Abrams, at large, aggravated possession of drugs, possessing drug abuse instruments and disorderly conduct; Joseph A. Nickell, 109 S. Court., Eaton, aggravated possession of drugs, possessing drug abuse instruments and disorderly conduct; Ryan Curtis Braden, 271 E. Mill St., Eldorado, breaking and entering, grand theft and vandalism; Christopher C. Lawson, 312 E. High St., West Manchester, grand theft of a motor vehicle, breaking and entering, grand theft of a motor vehicle and criminal trespass.

Also: Michele Lee Jones, 7748 Ohio 177, Camden, grand theft of a motor vehicle, breaking and entering, criminal trespass and petty theft; Dawn Renee Loper, 306 S. High St., West Manchester, breaking and entering, criminal trespass and receiving stolen property; Tyler Michael Wyatt, 10280 County Road 227, Camden, violating a protection order; Austin Messmear, 11 Kathy Court, New Paris, aggravated possession of drugs, possessing drug abuse instruments and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
