PREBLE COUNTY — During the June 11 Preble County Retired Teachers Association (PCRTA) meeting, President Harold Niehaus presented certificates to the PCRTA scholarship recipients, Abigail Bulach (Preble Shawnee) and Arica Hamilton (Eaton). Both girls are pursuing education careers.
Five Preble County teachers have retired this school year. They include Jan Clarry (Preble Shawnee), Todd and Diane Alexander (National Trail), Karen Titkemeyer (Eaton), and Pam Friesel (Eaton). They have been invited to join PCRTA. Any other school retirees from Preble or nearby counties are encouraged to join the group as well.

The entertaining program featured the original poems, songs, and stories of Darrell Meeks, PCRTA Treasurer.
The next meeting will be Sept. 10. All retired teachers and school personnel are invited to attend this informative meeting, with a program presented by an STRS representative. More information and photos are available at the PCRTA website.
