PREBLE COUNTY — The Preble County Sheriff’s Office reported there has been an increase in thefts from unsecured outbuildings and vehicles in the Harrison Township and Jefferson Township areas.

Deputies are asking residents to be vigilant and make sure they are locking vehicles and outbuildings each night.

PCSO officials noted, residents should remember to remove cash and valuables from their vehicles as well as to watch the neighborhood and report suspicious activity.
