CAMDEN — Camden Mayor Toni Keesler, along with several members of the Camden Village Council, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Dollar General Market Place located at 6715 North Main Street, Camden, on Friday, June 17.
Mayor Keesler began the ceremony with a brief statement: “I want to thank everyone for coming today to the groundbreaking of the Dollar General Market Place. We are really excited to have this for our residents of the village, and we appreciate all of you coming to help celebrate this. And without the hard work, and due diligence of our council, and our village staff, we would not have been able to accomplish this. So, I thank them. Let’s break this ground!”
The new Dollar General Market Place will replace the existing location, and will have an expanded variety of groceries, as well as fresh meat and produce selections. The store will be managed by Sheila Linville.
