Wheaton College student Lydia Hanson of Eaton was named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2022 semester.

To earn Dean’s List honors at Wheaton, an undergraduate student must carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher on the 4.0 scale.

Local Youngstown State University students named to the Dean’s List for Spring Semester 2022 include:

Trena Caldwell of Lewisburg, majoring in Psychology.

Shirley Hill of College Corner, majoring in Art Education.

Elly Volz of College Corner, majoring in Business Administration.

Dean’s List recognition is awarded to full-time undergraduate students who have earned at least a 3.4 grade point average for not less than 12 semester hours of credit in the Fall semester.

Shirley Hill, of College Corner, majoring in Art Education, has been named to Youngstown State University’s President’s List for achieving a perfect 4.0 grade point average in the Spring Semester 2022.

To be eligible for the President’s List, honorees must be full-time undergraduate students with a 4.0 GPA for least 12 semester hours of classes. Student certificates will be mailed in the coming weeks.

Ruthy Rutherford

Each year, Miami University honors senior students whose service to Miami and our surrounding community embodies Love and Honor with the President’s Distinguished Service Award. Their service through campus life, community service, intellectual and cultural leadership or student employment demonstrates the spirit of being a citizen leader of uncommon quality. The award is considered one of the top awards bestowed to students by the university. Ruthy Rutherford from Eaton, who is earning a degree in Geology, was recognized as a President’s Distinguished Service Award winner.
