PREBLE COUNTY — Twin Valley South golfer Nathan Osborn and Tri-County North’s Zach Tincher were recently named first-team All-Cross County Conference.
Osborn, a sophomore, was also CCC tournament champion and was named Golfer of the Year.
Osborn and Tincher earned first team All-CCC, placing first and ninth out of the Top 10 positions respectively.
The selections were based on total points earned individually through regular season meets, and individual tournament scores. Osborn scored a total of 239 points, while Tincher had 202.5.
Receiving special mentions were senior Isaac Plankenhorn of National Trail, senior Brett Booso of Tri-County North, and sophomore Willie Bowman of Twin Valley South.
Each of the 13 teams in the CCC are allowed only one recipient to receive a special mention.
National Trail finished the season 9-3 and 15-9 overall. Tri-County North was also 9-3, and was 17-7 overall. Twin Valley South had a 5-7 league record, and finished at 10-14 overall.
Arcanum won the league tournament with a 344 team score. North finished fifth with a 362, while National Trail came in in seventh with 368 and Twin Valley South came in eighth with a 395.
