We have several big announcements! Due to several requests, we will be having BINGO Thursday, Dec. 31! Come out and try your luck; we are normally done by 8:45 p.m. This night we will have hot dogs with the normal concession snacks. The Hog Wild progressive pull tab game has reached $900! Purchase some Hog Wild tickets, see if your number is a winner, and if your number is called, not only do you immediately win $100 but then you get a chance at the Jack Pot of $900! Come out and see us, play some BINGO, and see if you can start the New Year as a winner of $1,000 and still be home to watch the ball drop.

Our final announcement is that as we are merging our Fire & EMS into one department effective the new year, we have adopted a new symbol, as pictured.

American Legion

New Year’s Eve Celebration with Justin Bryant Band will be Thursday, Dec. 31, from 8p.m. to midnight. Tickets on sale at the Canteen are $15 each. Pork and Sauerkraut and Mashed potatoes served at Midnight! James E. Ryan Post 322, 1477 Ohio 503 South. The Canteen will be closed New Year’s Day.


Items needed are egg noodles, mac & cheese, pork & beans, tuna, pancake syrup, shampoo and toothpaste. The Foodbank is open from 10a.m. to 12p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays and is located at St. John Church, 20 E. South Street. Contact the Foodbank at 839-1615 for additional information. Non-perishable donations can also be dropped off at Salem and St. John Lutheran Churches the first Sunday of each month.
