City of Oxford Police Reports


OXFORD — The City of Oxford Division of Police filed the following recent incident reports:

June 12

Male cited after passing out on the front porch roof at 100 S. Elm Street.

Male subject at 101 Ardmore Drive overdosed on suspected LSD and was transported to the hospital by the Oxford Fire Department.

Elderly male found deceased in his home at 900 Tollgate Drive.

June 14

Unknown female was observed striking a child with a board in the parking lot of McDonald’s, 601 S. Locust Street.

June 16

Female reported her employer was harassing her and withholding her pay.

June 17

Complainant at Oxford Commons reported her live-in boyfriend struck her in the face as they were laying in bed. Police were called and he was arrested for domestic violence.

Complainant reported that on June 16, they realized they had missing clothes items while moving, after being gone from their apartment at 3770 Southpointe Parkway for a couple of weeks.

Male made threats to kill State Farm employees at 5115 College Corner Pike.

Male charged with open container following a traffic stop at Roberts Drive/Kehr Road.

June 18

Victim came to the station to report an unknown subject had made unauthorized transaction using his credit card.

Female reported her vehicle was intentionally damaged by an unknown person while in the parking lot of 21 Lynn Street.

June 19

Victim’s locked vehicle was broken into at 344 N. Locust Street, by unknown suspects and items were stolen.

A sign advertising Vacation Bible School was stolen from church at 420 Campus Avenue.

June 20

Sometime during the night, someone took an enclosed trailer full of merchandise from Capitol Varsity Sports, 6723 Ringwood Road.

June 21

Officer reported responding to 118 E. Church Street concerning a report of a broken window.

June 23

A storm caused tree limbs to break and land on two vehicles parked on the street in front of 1007 Arrowhead Drive. Both vehicles sustained damage.

Unknowns subjects entered the victim’s vehicle and stole items while the vehicle was parked outside the victim’s residence at 218 Vine Street.

After a traffic stop at West Sycamore/Lincoln Street defendant was found to be in possession of two hypodermic syringes.
