South volleyball wins 2 of 3

WEST ALEXANDRIA — Twin Valley South’s volleyball team moved back above the .500 mark, winning two of three matches last week. The Panthers, now 6-5 overall and 2-3 in the Cross County Conference, picked up wins of Dixie (25-23, 25-12) and Ansonia (19-25, 25-17, 25-17) on Saturday, Sept. 14, while suffering a loss to Arcanum (25-13, 25-9, 25-17) on Tuesday, Sept. 10. South was scheduled to have a busy week with three matches, all against county opponents. The Panthers were scheduled to play Eaton on Monday, Sept. 16, Tri-County North on Tuesday and at National Trail on Thursday.
