LEWISBURG — National Trail’s wrestling team claimed five individual titles en route to winning the 24th Annual Panther Invitational on Saturday, Jan. 11.
Trail tallied 203 points to outdistance runner-up Triad by five points.
Host Tri-County North was third with 160 points and Twin Valley South was fourth with 98.
Trail won titles at 106, 120,145, 182 and 220-pounds in the round robin format.

Eaton hosts Monroe, Northmont
Eaton dropped a pair of dual matches on Wednesday, Jan. 8 to Monroe and Northmont.
The host Eagles fell to Monroe 47-27 in the first match then suffered a 44-33 setback to Northmont in the second match.
Against Monroe, Eaton fell behind 28-0 after five matches.
Trenton Dungan, at 132 pounds, put the Eagles on the board with a pin to make it a 28-6 match. After back-to-back losses put Eaton down 37-6, the Eagles made a run to get within 37-27 with two matches left.
KeAnthony Bales recorded a pin at 152 to make it 37-12. Zac Schmidt, in the most tightly contested bout of the night at 160 pounds, won in overtime to cut the Hornets lead to 37-15. A forfeit win made it 37-21 and a pin by Beau Austin at 182 pounds pulled the Eagles to within 10 at 37-27.
Against Northmont, it was a back-and-forth match.
Eaton trailed 18-6 after four matches.
Dungan recorded his second pin of the night to cut the Thunderbolts lead to 18-12. Owen Hewitt followed with a pin at 138 pounds to tie the match.
After back-to-back losses, Eaton trailed 28-18.
Schmidt won his second match of the night, 11-6, to make it a 28-21 match. Logan Chapin recorded a pin in eight seconds to get Eaton with 28-27.
Northmont won the next two matches to take a 32-27 lead.
Holden Sittloh, who trailed 4-1 in the second period, recorded a pin to put Eaton on top 33-32 with two matches left.
Northmont claimed the final two matches for the 44-33 win.
