On Saturday, Jan. 28, the Eaton High School Junior Varsity Winterguard team traveled to the Mid-East Performance Association’s Winterguard regional. The team took home first place with a show titled, “Jailhouse Rock.”

EATON — On Saturday, Jan. 28, the Eaton High School Junior Varsity Winterguard team traveled to the Mid-East Performance Association’s Winterguard regional. The team took home first place with a show titled, “Jailhouse Rock.”

The junior varsity team is led by Senior Captain Alex Grube and Freshman Co-Captain Leah Pugh.

“This team consists of a majority of students who are in the band, but wanted to try something different. They did great and we are so proud of them,” said director Lisa White.

The team will perform at five more shows this season, ending at the championships to be held on Saturday, April 1, at the Nutter Center, according to White.
