NEW PARIS — The National Trail MVCTC FFA Chapter’s Novice Parliamentary Procedure team recently qualified for the state competition. The team placed second at the district contest.

At the state contest team members had to compete in a knowledge test, perform a demonstration in front of a panel of judges and answer oral questions. The team placed first in their competition room out of five teams. By placing first in their competition room the team qualified for the finals round. Once again, the team had to demonstrate in front of a panel of judges and answer oral questions.

As a result of hard work and dedication, the team placed second.

Team members include Tayten Reynolds, Jacob Dickson, Coltin Daum, Aiden Rader, Grace Osswald, Morgan House, Lexi Hake and Ava Spalding. The team is coached by Eric Kennel.
