TROY — Sustained high winds, occasional rain and falling temperatures Saturday made for miserable running conditions for competitors at the Troy Up and Running Invitational.

Brookville and Northmont were among the 37 boys and girls teams in attendance.

Brookville’s boys team placed 2nd overall with 73 points behind Butler with 80 while Northmont placed 5th with 33 points.

Northmont’s girls team tied for 7th with Troy’s B team with 33 points with the Brookville girls 9th with 16 points.

Kory Davis (Brookville) took 1st place in the 110 meter hurdles at 15.39 seconds while teammate Tim Davis placed 4th at 16.99.

Coy Hyre (Brookville) placed 4th in the 100 meter dash at 12.01 seconds, Alex Kidwell (Brookville) placed 5th at 12.04, Nigel Glover (Northmont) placed 6th at 12.05 with Dajuan Lamb (Northmont) 11th at 12.12 and Jae Grigsby (Northmont) 12th at 12.13 in a field of 71 runners.

Daron Porter (Northmont) took 1st in the 1600 meter run at 4:43.66. Reed Diller (Northmont) was 3rd at 4:45.25 and Lukas Rieban (Northmont) was 4th at 4:45.79. Kyle Bland (Brookville) was 11th at 5:13.40. Logan Wright (Brookville) was 20th at 5:22.73, Quinn McCoy (Brookville) was 36th at 5:58.54 and Blake Stacy (Brookville) was 46th at 6:10.13 in a field of 54.

Keegan Mehr placed 3rd in the 400 meter dash at 53.86 with Daniel Ivory (Northmont) 8th at 55.28. Douglas Moore (Brookville) placed 10th at 55.70. Michael Goffinet (Northmont) was 29th at 59.65. Aidan Naber (Brookville) was 32nd at 1:00.44. Corey Norris (Northmont) finished 46th at 1:02.38.
