Brookville Path of Pages kickoff event set

BROOKVILLE — The public is invited to participate in the opening celebration of our first Path of Pages at the Dayton Metro Library Brookville location on Wednesday, Aug. 23, from 5-6 p.m.

What is the meaning of Path of Pages?

The Path of Pages allows visitors to read pages of a children’s book, one page at a time, and participate in challenge activities/questions as they walk along a scenic natural setting adjacent to the library and school land laboratory. This is a great way to encourage reading while enjoying the outdoors, according to library officials.

This collaboration is the work of the Brookville Teachers of Outdoor Education (TOE), Five Rivers Metro Parks, Dayton Metro Library-Brookville and the Montgomery Soil and Water Conservation District (MSWCD).

Hot dogs, chips and bottled water will be available for attendees while supplies last.

Come and celebrate this fun, free, educational adventure and experience the book, Lola at the Library.
