golf wins two
TROTWOOD — Monday the Northmont boys golf team scored a 164-177 victory over Wayne on the front nine at Graywolf Golf Course. Ben Dawson led the T’bolts with a 40, J.J. Morgan and Eli Siehl both shot 41 and Brady Canan had a 42.
On Tuesday the Thunderbolts defeated Springfield 167-183 on the back nine at Reid Park North. Ben Dawson finished as medalist with a 39. Hayden Davis carded a 42 with Jack Siehl and J.J. Morgan both shooting a 43.
T’bolts soccer
beats Dublin
CLAYTON — Goals by Nasir Eloi, Christian Moncrief, and Elliot Moyer with assists by Julian Bazile and Eloi powered the Northmont boys soccer team to a 3-0 victory Saturday against Dublin Coffman.
Alex Hardy made four saves in goal to earn the shutout.

defeats Madison
BROOKVILLE — The Brookville girls soccer team defeated Middletown Madison 2-0 Thursday. No individual scoring results were provided. Alexi Bickel was listed as having an assist.
Goalkeeper Sara Carr made six saves for the Lady Devils while Emily Friend made 15 saves for Madison.

wins two road matches
CAMDEN — Brookville’s girls volleyball team won a hard fought match Monday at Preble Shawnee in five sets 25-22, 28-26, 21-25, 23-25, 15-8.
Sidney Sprada had 27 kills, 24 digs and 18 total service points. Ella Nutter had 12 kills and Logynn Barr 10 kills. Paloma Carey had 20 digs, Melina Davidson 14 digs and Barr 12 digs.
Tuesday the Lady Devils defeated Carlisle 25-8, 25-22, 25-12. Sprada had 12 kills and Carey 10 digs.

KETTERING — Thursday, Sept. 14 the Lady Bolts tennis team improved their overall record to 12-4 and 2-2 in the Greater Western Ohio Conference with a 5-0 win over Fairmont.
1st singles – Lily Braswell (N) defeated Sara Estrada Sanchez 6-1, 6-0.
2nd singles – Erin Kelsey (N) defeated Katie Drake (F) 6-0, 6-0.
3rd singles – Tyler Buxton (N) defeated Abby Finke (F) 6-1, 6-2.
1st doubles – Kennedi Robinson/Makayla Hibbard (N) defeated Lucy Bruzzese/Audrey Lundgren (F) 6-3, 6-1.
2nd doubles – Bridget Scranton/Addison Wilson (N) defeated Cora Fiscus/Isabelle Turner (F) 6-0, 6-1.
In JV action the doubles teams of Madison Evan/Ashley Weiss and Hailey Wheeler/Makayla Blake each won while Miracle Akpan won her singles match.
Northmont girls
splits two matches
CLAYTON — The Northmont girls golf team lost a home match Thursday, Sept. 14 208-202 to Centerville at Meadowbrook at Clayton Golf Course. No individual players scores were reported.
The Lady Bolts did not have their best match but were able to escape with a 208-223 victory Monday against Fairmont on a beautiful evening at Meadowbrook.
