Monday, Oct. 23

Haunted Halloween, 6-7 p.m.

Bring your little ghouls and goblins (ages 3-8) to the library for a not-too-scary fun time. We’ll have Halloween-themed party games, treats and a craft. Remember to wear a costume!

Tuesday, Oct. 24

Mother Goose on the Loose: Baby and Toddler Storytime, 10-10:45 a.m.

Bring babies and toddlers for games, songs and stories that have an early literacy base and are designed to aid in stimulating the learning process for babies and toddlers. Caregivers are encouraged to bring children from ages birth to 24 months old to join in this fun program. Registration is not required.

Tween Tuesday: Gaming, 3-4 p.m.

Kids ages 6-12 years old will have fun gaming with their friends! Registration is not required.

Mystery Book Club, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Adults looking for more mystery in their life can participate in a monthly book discussion featuring mystery novels! In October, they’re reading then discussing “What Have We Done” by Alex Finlay. Registration is available, but not required.

Preschool Storytime, 10-11 a.m.

Children ages 3-5 years can enjoy stories, songs, and other fun learning activities designed to develop the language, literacy, and social skills a preschooler needs for school success. Registration is not required.

Thursday, Oct. 26

Teen Scary Movie, 3-5 p.m.

Teens in grades 7-12 can get into the holiday spirit with a scary movie and popcorn. Registration is not required.

Friday, Oct. 27

Inspired Pages Book Club, 10-11 a.m.

Brookville’s newest book club reads then meets to discuss a book from the Inspirational Section. This month the group is reading “The Master Craftsman” by Kelli Stuart. Saturday, Oct. 28

Adult DIY: Seed Bead Rings, 10-11 a.m.

Medicare 101, noon or 3:30 p.m.

Adults who have questions about Medicare may attend one of two informative sessions with Deborah Bulleit and Leonard Loomis, local educators and independent agents to answer Medicare questions and discuss available options. Montgomery County Auditor Karl Keith will discuss the new 2023 property value updates – how they are determined and what steps one can take if there is a disagreement with a proposed value. Registration is not required.
