The following information has been provided by area police departments. The information listed in this column is considered public record and is available to anyone seeking information concerning what is provided below.

For purposes of this column, the term “arrested” or “charged” does not necessarily mean the person was taken into physical custody. It could also indicate that a summons was issued to the subject in lieu of physical custody.

All the people listed as “arrested” or “charged” are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Monday, Sept. 4, Englewood 230001446: Glenn Johnson, 43, of Brookville, was charged with theft at Meijer, issued a court summons and released.

Englewood 230001450: Christopher J. Hoover, 47, of Troy, was charged with theft at Meijer, issued a court summons and released.

Tuesday, Sept. 5, Englewood 230001451: Denisen D. Dancer, 38, of Englewood, was charged with theft at Dollar General and was arrested on an active warrant. He was issued a criminal trespass notice and transported to the county jail.

Wednesday, Sept. 6, Englewood 230001460: Douglas S. Wollenhaupt, 43, of Englewood, was arrested on a warrant out of Montgomery County for failure to appear and transported to the county jail.

Saturday, Sept. 9, Englewood 230001471: Bradley Cohee, 45, of Richmond, Ind., and Dawson King, 24, also of Richmond, Ind., were both charged with receiving stolen property. King was also charged with possession of drugs. Cohee and King were transported to the county jail.

Englewood 230001474: Bobby Sue Hicks, 31, of Gettysburg, was charged with driving under non-compliance suspension and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her license plates were confiscated and her vehicle impounded. She was issued a court summons and released to wait for a ride by a licensed driver.

Monday, Sept. 11, Englewood 230001480: Sellers L. Littles III, 19, of Trotwood, was charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, issued a court summons and released.

Englewood 230001481: Brian K. Shoemaker, 39, of Laura, was charged with theft at Walmart, issued a court summons and released.

Englewood 230001482: Adaira C. Johnston, 25, of Dayton 45402, and Shatoya M. Bradfield, 37, of Dayton 45417, were each charged with theft at Walmart. Bradfield was issued a court summons and released. Johnson, who has prior convictions for theft, was transported to the county jail.

Tuesday, Sept. 12, Englewood 230001494: Chad J. Robbins, 39, of Sidney, was charged with theft at Meijer, issued a court summons and released.

Wednesday, Sept. 13, Englewood 230001498: Andrew D. Dorsey, 32, of Dayton 45414, was charged with theft at Walmart, issued a court summons and released.

Saturday, Sept. 16, Englewood 230001513: Dionne R. Perry, 47, of Dayton 45417, was charged with theft and criminally trespassed from Walmart. She was issued a court summons and released.

Tuesday, Sept. 19, Englewood 230001522: Ryan E. Moore, 32, of Middletown, was arrested by Franklin police on an Englewood warrant. Moore was turned over to an Englewood officer and transported to the county jail.

Thursday, Sept. 21, Englewood 230001545: Nijah N. Kennedy, 20, of Dayton 45402, was charged with criminal damaging after throwing her headset on the floor when she was terminated from employment at Burger King. She was also issued a criminal trespass warning. A second employee that resigned earlier was also issued a criminal trespass warning. Kennedy was issued a court summons and released.

Saturday, Oct. 7, Brookville 2300432: Police investigated a past occurred domestic incident on Ramblewood Court. No charges were filed.

Brookville 2300433: Police responded to Western Avenue where a Hyundai Sonata hit the side of a garage. Police determined the Sonata ran the stop sign at Hay Avenue and Wolf Creek Street, drove through a parking lot, through a fence on South Wolf Creek Street and into the side of the garage. The driver appeared to be suffering from a medical condition and was not cited. She was transported to the hospital.

Brookville 2300434: Police investigated an assault in the 400 block of Market St. The victims refused to press charges.

Wednesday, Oct. 11, Brookville 2300435: A Miami Valley Child Development Center school bus and a CenterPoint Energy work van both suffered damage to side view mirrors when the bus clipped the legally parked work van in the 300 block of S. Wolf Creek St.

Brookville 2300436: The unauthorized use of a motor vehicle was reported on Ridge Road. The victim eventually got her car back and signed a refusal to prosecute form.

Thursday, Oct. 12, Brookville 2300437: A black zippered purse belonging to Susan C. Hall of Dayton 45424 was turned in by a homeowner on Arlington Road. The homeowner was holding a garage sale that Hall had visited. Police were unable to locate a phone number for Hall and placed the purse and its contents into the property room.
