The following information has been provided by area police departments. The information listed in this column is considered public record and is available to anyone seeking information concerning what is provided below.

For purposes of this column, the term “arrested” or “charged” does not necessarily mean the person was taken into physical custody. It could also indicate that a summons was issued to the subject in lieu of physical custody.

All the people listed as “arrested” or “charged” are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Monday, Nov. 20, Englewood 230001920: Benjamin J. McCutcheon, 35, of Huber Heights, was arrested on a warrant issued by Huber Heights Police for failure to appear in court. He was transported to the county jail.

Tuesday, Nov. 21, Englewood 230001927: Barry E. Pitts, 55, of Xenia, was charged with theft at Kroger and was arrested on a warrant out of Greene County. Pitts was transported to the county jail.

Englewood 230001931: Johnathon W. Fisher, 30, of Dayton 45403, was charged with theft at Meijer, issued a court summons and released.

Wednesday, Nov. 22, Englewood 230001935: Brian A. Reed, 28, of Kettering, was charged with theft at Meijer, issued a court summons and released.

Thursday, Nov. 23, Englewood 230001938: Denton E. Little, 51, of West Milton, was arrested on a felony warrant for breaking and entering issued by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. Little was transported to the county jail.

Friday, Nov. 24, Englewood 230001940: Richard G. Smythe II, 31, of West Milton, was arrested on a warrant out of Texas and transported to the county jail.

Saturday, Nov. 25, Englewood 230001942: At 3:12 a.m. police responded to the area of Clearstream Way and Windgate Court standing next to his vehicle yelling. Police found a bottle of tequila in the roadway next to his vehicle parked diagonally in the road blocking traffic. The male resisted as an officer attempted to escort him to a police cruiser. He continued to scream randomly asking for help to aid him from being arrested. Inside the cruiser he claimed he was having a seizure. He was transported to the hospital for evaluation but resisted being removed from the cruiser. After being medically cleared, Christopher W. Williams, 25, of Englewood, was charged with disorderly conduct while intoxicated and transported to the county jail.

Monday, Nov. 27, Englewood 230001946: Kevin L. Pitts, 57, of Lancaster, was charged with theft at Walmart and was arrested on four warrants, three for theft and one for identity theft. He was transported to the county jail. Pitts’ brother was arrested at Kroger by day shift officers recently which could result in a possible RICO violation.

Englewood 230001954: Donald W. Caffee, 64, of Dayton 45417, was arrested on a warrant out of Butler County for felony vandalism. He was transported to Miamisburg and turned over to a deputy with the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

Englewood 230001958: William H. Duke, 60, of Fairborn, was charged with theft at Meijer and was arrested on three active warrants. He was transported to the county jail.

Friday, Dec. 1, Clayton 230001414: Marcellus A. Cook, 30, of Dayton 45416, was charged with display of plates, driving without a valid license, and possession of marijuana. His vehicle was impounded. Cook was released with a court summons.

Saturday, Dec. 2, Clayton 230001415: A lost wallet was reported on Vinway Court. The victim stated he placed the wallet on his lap after taking his daughter to McDonald’s and believed it fell into the parking lot when he returned to his apartment. The wallet contained two debit cards, an Ohio I.D. card, and $2,000 cash.

Clayton 230001416: An unknown subject driving a dual axle vehicle damaged a yard and blacktop driveway in the 3200 block of Old Salem Rd.
