MIAMISBURG — This year, there is a new team in town. The Eaton Winterguard Program has grown over the last 8 years, and winning a state championship in 2023 only made it more exciting to join. This year, Eaton started a middle school program with students in 6-8 grade. On Saturday, Jan. 27, the group traveled to Miamisburg to compete for the first time. They took home a first place win with the show titled “Somewhere Out There,” music from the classic animated movie American Tail. “I was so proud of their performance. They carried themselves with pride and smiled and showed the confidence that they had learned. Teaching poise, teamwork, technique and love for one another is the mission of our program,” Director Lisa White said. The team is led by Captains Gracie Brescher and Samantha Atkinson.
