EATON — The Eaton Area Community Band will present its winter concert on Sunday, March 3, at 4 p.m. in the Eaton Community Schools Performing Arts Center.

The band is made up of 44 adult and student musicians from Eaton, Richmond and the surrounding area, and is directed by Tad Stewart, former director of bands of Eaton Schools.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the PAC. To mark the occasion, the band will perform A Joyous Celebration, the piece that was commissioned for the opening performance of the auditorium in October 2013. It will be conducted by Tracy Phillips, who is also a former director of the Eaton Bands. The concert will include a number of soloists, including Daniel Bell (Eaton class of 2000) who will be singing the Irish national song Danny Boy.

The concert is free, as always, but donations will be accepted.
