Regional Transportation Plan to be topic of meeting

EATON — Later this month, MVRPC will hold public participation meetings for the Darke-Preble-Shelby counties 2050 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP). The RTP strives to improve the multimodal transportation system in a manner that supports enhanced accessibility and mobility for all people and freight resulting in a higher quality of life for its residents and economic development opportunities for the Region.

The public meetings will take place in-person in Darke, Shelby, and Preble counties and virtually on Zoom.

The in-person meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 27, from 5-6 p.m., at the Preble County Fairgrounds Expansion Building, 722 South Franklin Street, Eaton.

After a brief summary of the DRAFT plan, MVRPC staff will accept comments and answer questions. If you are unable to attend, the information will also be available for public review on the MVRPC website at rtpo.mvrpc.org, and at the MVRPC’s office. Written comments will be accepted until April 10.
