NEW PARIS — On Friday, March 22, the National Trail Jostens Renaissance Club hosted the National Trail Community Senior Luncheon, and saw an impressive turnout of over 65 guests.

“The event was a delightful opportunity for our community seniors to connect with our students and learn about the exciting activities they’ve been engaged in through Renaissance and other school activities,” NT Rennaissance Advisor Sindi Hoke said.

“The luncheon was enhanced by the hospitality of our students, who not only served the guests but also engaged them in meaningful conversations. Sitting together at the tables, students shared personal experiences, discussed our school’s theme, and elaborated on how it aligns with our culture playbook, promotes school spirit, and encourages discipline among our student body,” she added.

She continued, “Adding to the day, our very own steel band provided captivating musical entertainment, filling the room with lively tunes that set the perfect mood for the occasion. To add a touch of fun and challenge, guests participated in music trivia rounds, adding an element of friendly competition and laughter to the gathering. A special highlight of the luncheon was the distribution of Easter cakes made with love by Mrs. Laird’s Global Foods class. These delicious treats were a token of appreciation for our guests and a reflection of the talent and dedication of our students and faculty.”

“At National Trail, we cherish opportunities like the Senior Luncheon, as they allow us to open our doors to the community, foster meaningful connections, and showcase the vibrancy of our school culture. We are extremely grateful to everyone who joined us for this memorable event, and we are already looking forward to next year’s luncheon,” Hoke said.
