Two arrested on drug, other charges

EATON — In a collective investigation between the Eaton Police Division and the Preble County Sheriff’s Office, two subjects were arrested on drug-related and child endangering charges last week.

On Friday, Aug. 30, both departments executed a narcotic-related search warrant at 212 Village South Drive, according to EPD Sgt. David Sizemore.

Officers located 17.8 grams of methamphetamine, $592 in cash and several drug paraphernalia items.

Arrested at the apartment was Willie Wagner Jr., who was charged with felony possession of drugs, schedule I or II (bulk;) felony trafficking in drugs, schedule I or II (bulk;) felony child endangering and drug paraphernalia charges.

Also arrested in the apartment was Star Crumby, who was charged with felony child endangering, felony permitting drug abuse and drug paraphernalia charges.

Crumby and and Wagner were to be charged formally in Eaton Municipal Court and remained in custody at the Preble County Jail at press time.

“Eaton Police officers continue their efforts to identify and charge distributors and street-level dealers of illegal drugs,” Sizemore said in a press release.
