EATON — Preble County will be conducting a Special Congressional Primary Election (Democratic party only) on Tuesday, Sept. 13, for the entire county.
This election is to fill the vacancy of the Democratic full term candidate seat for the Ohio’s 8th Congressional District on the Nov. 8, General Election ballot. Corey Foister, Democratic candidate nominated in the March primary, withdrew from the race. Steven Fought has filed a petition to fill the vacancy and it has been certified to the ballot.
This election is for the Democratic Party only but any registered voter may vote for the candidate. Voters should understand that if they vote, they will be registered as a Democrat voter in Preble County until the next Primary election.
