Trail’s Raegan Holland wins county spelling bee

EATON — The 2022 Preble County Spelling Bee was held on Jan. 20, 2022 at the Eaton Performing Arts Center.

This year’s event was coordinated by the Preble County Educational Service Center, according to Superintendent Shawn Hoff, who said the bee went 14 rounds in order to declare a winner.

National Trail 8th grader Raegen Holland earned first place, while AJ Phillips, also a National Trail 8th grader, came in second. Twin Valley South fifth grader Adara Suggs placed third.

Tri-County North

TCN Elementary — Skylar Mathis and Aiden Ritter

TCN Middle School — William Roark and Audrey Fox

TVS Elementary — Devin Spencer and Suggs
