LEWISBURG — Lewisburg’s Derby Days brought traditional festival fun back to the village last Thursday, Aug. 11 through Saturday, Aug. 13.
The three days of family fun began Thursday with a kiddie tractor pull and other events, including a talent contest.
Friday night, Aug. 12, brought Motorcycle Bike Nite, and included live music by Preble County Line Band and a street dance to close the evening.
There were emonstrations at the historic Smith’s Blacksmith shop, on both Friday and Saturday. The festival included music, food, craft vendors, a beer garden, as well as children’s rides and games.
The Derby Race itself was held on Saturday afternoon, Aug. 13. The 26th annual cruise-in was also held on Saturday.
Derby Days festivities closed with a large fireworks display Saturday night.
