PREBLE COUNTY — Continuing work on the U.S. 127 bridge rehabilitation project over Interstate 70 requires the following overnight lane closures:

Tuesday and Wednesday, April 25 -26: Single-lane closures on I-70 East and West, under U.S. 127, from 7 p.m. to 10 a.m. the following day.

Monday through Wednesday, May 1-3: Single-lane closures on I-70 East and West, under U.S. 127, from 7 p.m. to 10 a.m. the following day.

Contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation are rehabilitating the bridge that carries U.S. 127 over I-70 by replacing the bridge deck, raising the structure, and painting the structural steel.

The Complete General Construction Company was awarded a contract for $4.9 million to undertake the project, and while the first phase of construction is scheduled to wrap up in the fall of 2023, all work is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2024.
