The following information has been provided by Northmont area police departments. The information listed in this column is considered public record and is available to anyone seeking information concerning what is provided below.

For purposes of this column, the term “arrested” or “charged” does not necessarily mean the person was taken into physical custody. It could also indicate that a summons was issued to the subject in lieu of physical custody.

All the people listed as “arrested” or “charged” are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Friday, April 14, Brookville 23-00146: A dump truck backed over a gas meter in the 300 block of N. Wolf Creek St. and left the scene without leaving his insurance information. Police contacted the dump truck driver and advised him that if he turned the incident into his insurance company and speak with CenterPoint Energy about paying for the damage, no charges would be filed.

Brookville 23-00147: Three people, two females and one male, were criminally trespassed from Rob’s Restaurant and instructed not to return or face potential arrest.

Brookville 23-00148: Brian K. Williams, 57, of Brookville, was charged with drug possession. He was issued a court summons.

Clayton 23-0000406: Sarah H. Schwab, 43, of Miamisburg, was charged with violating a protection order. Charges were forwarded to Western Division Court.

Clayton 23-0000407: Robert O. Woods, 52, of Clayton 45415, was arrested on an active warrant out of Montgomery County for failure to appear on a drugs violation. He was transported to the county jail.

Saturday, April 15, Brookville 23-00149: A male subject was criminally trespassed from the Brookville Express Sunoco. A copy of the signed complaint was mailed to the suspect.

Brookville 23-00150: An unknown subject shattered the front passenger side window on a vehicle parked in the rear lot at Brookville Grille.

Brookville 23-00151: Curtis E. Twitty III, 28, of Dayton 45417, was charged with the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. A female subject allowed Twitty to use her vehicle to run some errands. She had let him do this in the past with no issues. This time he did not return. On April 16 Butler Township Police located Twitty in the vehicle on Benchwood Road. Twitty was taken into custody and transported to the county jail. He was released on April 18 under a detective order of release for driving without consent.

Clayton 23-0000408: An officer on foot patrol discovered vandalism in Northview Park. A broken bottle of vodka was observed along the pathway near the shelter and black spray paint was used to damage all four picnic tables and the concrete under the shelter. Most of the spray painted words said, “Z Money, P Money, Zoe and Peyton.” A can of black spray paint was found in the trash can next to the shelter and processed for fingerprints. School resource officers were made aware of the incident.

Sunday, April 16, Brookville 23-00152: A bicycle was found on McKinley Street and placed in the police property room until claimed.

Clayton 23-0000411: Police responded to the 8600 block of N. Main St. on a weapons complaint and a domestic dispute. A female subject was issued a trespass warning. A complaint by the female against the involved male will be forwarded to a prosecutor for review.

Monday, April 17, Clayton 23-0000412: Police responded to a domestic dispute on Whitaker Street. No charges were filed.

Tuesday, April 18, Brookville 23-00157: Police responded to the intersection of Arlington Road and Campus Boulevard on a two vehicle injury accident with an ejection. One driver was ejected from her vehicle and when police arrived she was found sitting on the ground. The ejected driver, Christina E. Rust, 28, of Brookville, was cited for failure to stop at posted stop sign. She and the driver of the other vehicle were both transported to the hospital for treatment.

Clayton 23-0000415: Police responded to a domestic dispute in the 5100 block of Seville Dr. The female victim stated she no longer wanted the father of their children at the residence as he had been abusive and violent to her in the past as well as today. His name is not on the lease, and he pays no bills at the residence. The female was advised she could file for a protection order and the male left the area on foot.

Wednesday, April 19, Brookville 23-00158: Police responded to a noise complaint in the 600 block of Rona Parkway. Two teenage boys were fighting in an apartment generating a complaint by a neighbor. Police warned the boys that if they did not refrain from fighting, they and their mother could face possible eviction.

Clayton 23-0000419: An officer responded to the intersection of Main Street and Westbrook Road on the report of a driver that was passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle. A Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputy advised the vehicle drove west on Westbrook where the deputy initiated a traffic stop. Kim M. Phillips, Jr., 23, of Dayton 45414, was charged with driving under a non-compliance suspension and possession of a controlled substance. He was issued a court summons and released to a valid driver.

Clayton 23-0000420: Felony theft was reported in the 6200 block of Cheri Lynne Dr. A home health care worker was found to be using a patient’s diabetes meter to test herself, and then test the patient. Around 30 strips for the diabetic meter were missing and double readings on the meter were found on 21 different dates. The patient was potentially exposed to blood borne pathogens. Tests for possible exposure are being obtained. The case remains under investigation.

Clayton 23-0000422: Officers responded to the intersection of Main Street and Westbrook Road for a crash involving two vehicles. Both vehicles had to be towed. During an inventory search of one vehicle, marijuana and paraphernalia were located along with a THC vape cartridge. Ashley N. Brown, 32, of Clayton, was charged with possession of marijuana and marijuana drug paraphernalia. She was issued a court summons.

Thursday, April 20, Brookville 23-00159: A resident came to the police department in reference to a civil protection order he has in place against his neighbor. The order states that the neighbor agrees to reposition surveillance cameras so that they do not depict or view into the window or door of the petitioner’s property, or into the pool / deck area of the petitioner’s property. The resident stated that there are four cameras all pointed towards his house and into the pool area. An officer went to the resident’s property and was shown the four cameras pointed at his property. A report was taken.

Brookville 23-00160: Police responded to McKinley Street on a medic assist.

Clayton 23-0000427: Kerri L. Taylor, 45, of Clayton, was cited for animals at large and issued a court summons.

Clayton 23-0000429: An unknown white female and an unknown black male with a shaved head entered Dollar General and separated. The white female loaded a shopping cart with an unusual amount of merchandise and exited the store through a fire door. The alarm failed due to a dead battery. Both subjects fled in a 2000 silver Pontiac Grand Am.

Friday, April 21, Brookville 23-00161: Police responded to the Brookville Inn on an unknown problem. A male subject stated he and his girlfriend had been staying in a room, but when he woke up this morning he found her having sex with another man. He requested to be taken to a homeless shelter. While being transported to the shelter, the male described drugs his girlfriend had and that she had an appointment with someone to deal drugs later this evening. He said her supplier in West Dayton supplies his girlfriend with methamphetamine. He also stated a rehab organization places recovering addicts in the Brookville Inn as part of its program. Police discovered the girlfriend has an extensive history of drug related charges and multiple convictions, the most recent in 2022. The male her boyfriend discovered her having sex with has past criminal charges, including one out of state for drug possession.
