EATON — Organizers of the 52nd Annual Preble County Pork Festival announced have announced the Friday Night Launch Party is returning in 2023.

This popular add-on to the Pork Festival, held for the first time in 2022, is once again poised to offer multiple concerts, live radio remote, and aerial event, according to RMJG Events.

These festivities will kick off the weekend as a ticketed, evening event for a nominal $10 entry fee, parking included. Limited VIP seating will also be available for $15, located near the stage, RMJG officials said in a press release.

“Spectators will have the excitement of an aerial event, as well as two concerts by performance favorites, The Victims of Love and More Than a Feeling. The Victims of Love perfects the signature sounds of the Eagles and will have attendees singing along to summer night classics! More Than a Feeling includes performances of Boston favorites and will have the crowd reminiscing of a musical era with songs still popular today,” the release noted.

Infield food trucks and a beer garden will be open Friday night for meal and drink options.

“The Preble County Pork Festival is truly an unique event, attracting visitors near and far. It has given back to the local community well over $2 million dollars since its inception back in the early 1970s,” the release noted.

Organizers once again plan to begin the 52nd year with fanfare. Tickets for this entertainment event and others may be found at www.porkfestival.org/schedule-of-events.

Full Pork Festival activities, including meal venues and exhibits, will open Saturday morning per tradition, and be open throughout the weekend. Parking and general admission to the festival remain free.
