Devils beat Greenon

in sectional tourney

BROOKVILLE – The Blue Devils boys soccer team scored a 2-0 victory Tuesday at home over Greenon in the boys Division II Southwest 1 tournament.

Braden Chambers scored both goals and Roman Whorton had an assist while goalkeeper Ayden Cowens made four saves to earn the shutout.

With the victory Brookville advances to face Lewiston Indian Lake on Saturday at home.

SPRINGFIELD – In their final regular season match Monday, the Lady Devils volleyball team defeated Springfield Shawnee 25-13, 25-18, 25-22.

Sidney Sprada had 16 kills, 19 total service points, 12 service aces, and seven digs. Bree Albertson had 15 total service points, two blocks, and five kills. Logynn Barr had 13 total service points, seven digs, and four kills.

Melina Davidson 18 assists, 10 total service points, five digs, and one kill. Madisyn Cantrell had 10 digs. Lauren Eller had 1o total service points, seven assists, and one dig.
