Lady Bolts struggle at Miamisburg

MIAMISBURG — Northmont’s girls basketball suffered a 52-35 defeat at Miamisburg last Wednesday to fall to 4-11 overall and 1-9 in conference play.

The Lady Vikings improved to 6-9 and 2-8 in conference play one game ahead of Northmont in the Greater Western Ohio Conference.

Alley Haas led Miamisburg with 14 points and five rebounds. Jenna Hall had nine points and six rebounds to lead Northmont.

The Lady Bolts were held to less than 10 points in each quarter and trailed by 18 entering the final period.

Northmont held the advantage in rebounds with 33 compared to 21 for Miamisburg.

The Lady Vikings shot 40 percent from the field and 75 percent from the foul line. Northmont was 26 percent from the field and 37.5 percent at the charity stripe.
