Brookville 2400044: An officer responded to Bear Naked Tanning on a panic alarm. On arrival two females were inside with the door locked talking on the phone with the business owner. The manager stated that a man called the tanning salon and identified himself as a deputy with the Brookville Police Department. He stated, “We are having a situation here.” He then asked how many people and how many employees were in the salon. He then asked for her cell phone number “so he could have her on surveillance.” When she did not give her number to him, the caller got more aggressive. He stated, “I am watching you and you need to go to the back.” She did not give him her number or go to the back. The manager then called the salon owner and pressed the panic button to summon police. When the officer arrived, the manager recognized him and unlocked the door. The officer tried calling the number which came up on the salon’s caller ID but it went straight to voice mail stating the mailbox had not yet been set up. The officer stayed at the salon until the manager locked up and walked her to her vehicle.
