The following information has been provided by area police departments. The information listed in this column is considered public record and is available to anyone seeking information concerning what is provided below.

For purposes of this column, the term “arrested” or “charged” does not necessarily mean the person was taken into physical custody. It could also indicate that a summons was issued to the subject in lieu of physical custody.

All the people listed as “arrested” or “charged” are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Friday, Jan. 26, Englewood 240000140: Matthew C. Mosley, Sr., 45, of West Milton, was charged with theft at Walmart and transported to the county jail.

Sunday, Jan. 28, Englewood 240000148: Ricky V. Bush, 58, of Dayton 45417, was charged with theft at Walmart, issued a court summons and released.

Monday, Jan. 29, Englewood 240000159: Peter O. Oluduyile, 21, of Dayton 45405, was arrested on a warrant out of Clark County for failure to appear on a traffic offense and transported to the county jail.

Wednesday, Jan. 31, Englewood 240000169: Jeffrey T. Tullis, 58, of Union, was arrested on a felony warrant out of Indiana and transported to the county jail.

Englewood 240000170: Michael A. Morelli III, 36, of Dayton 45405, was arrested on three warrants issued by various police agencies and was also charged with furnishing false information to avoid a citation and driving under suspension. He was transported to the county jail.

Thursday, Feb. 15, Union 2400000003: Police responded to Amazon on the report of an employee theft. The employee admitted to stealing a set of Airpods because she was intoxicated. After entering her information in the Law Enforcement Automated Data System (LEADS) it was discovered the employee was a wanted subject. Shamica M. Woods, 24, of Dayton 45414, was charged with theft and was arrested on a warrant issued by Moraine Police. She was transported to the county jail.

Saturday, March 2, Clayton 240000211: Clayton officers heard Englewood radio traffic regarding a traffic crash at Main Street and Rockridge Road. Radio traffic indicated a blue Dodge Journey fled the scene and was headed south on Taywood Road toward Clayton. A Clayton officer Smith positioned himself between the service garage and Fire Station 85 and observed the vehicle travel past the fire station and pulled out onto Taywood behind the suspect vehicle without activating his overhead lights. The vehicle immediately pulled into a residential driveway. The driver was ordered to exit his vehicle and was apologetic and admitted his driver’s license was suspended. The suspect was turned over to an Englewood officer.

Monday, March 4, Clayton 240000222: Christopher R. Sands, 42, of Trotwood, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and transported to jail.

Thursday, March 7, Clayton 240000232: A 2016 Lexus was stolen from a driveway in the 5100 block of Pebble Brook Dr. The vehicle was unlocked with the keys inside when it was stolen.

Monday, March 11, Union 24000000095: Police responded to the intersection of W. Martindale and Westrock Farm roads on a dog attack. A woman walking her Labrador retriever were attacked by two pit bulls. The woman was crying and officers observed blood dripping from her dog. An officer transported her and her dog home so she could go to the emergency vet clinic. Once she reached the clinic she discovered she had also been bitten. Police found the fence gate open at the home where the pit bull owner lives. Officers discovered blood on the front legs and paws of one pit bull and that neither dog had been registered since 2022. Stacy L .Elliott, 50, of Union, was charged with two counts of having a dog at large and two counts of failure to register dog and was issued vicious dog designations.

Union 24000000096: Jerry A. West, 67, of Union, was charged with making threats and cited for a crash after ramming into another subjects vehicle. West was issued a court summons.

Tuesday, March 12, Union 24000000098: Caleb M. Small, 34, of Piqua, was arrested on a warrant out of Miami County for failure to appear. Small was taken into custody and turned over to a Miami County deputy.
