Meet the city manager March 28

BROOKVILLE — The Brookville Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a breakfast event for residents wishing to meet new city manager Jack Kuntz.

The breakfast will take place Thursday, March 28, from 7:30-9 a.m. at Rob’s Restaurant, located at 705 Arlington Road.

According to the chamber, Kuntz will give a brief introduction and answer questions.

Kuntz will also be available to speak with residents at the conclusion of the breakfast.

Kuntz became the new city manager on Feb. 12, replacing Sonja Keaton who retired on Feb. 9.

Prior to accepting the Brookville city manager position, Kuntz served as Clayton’s director of development, a position he held since March of 2016.

Kuntz began his career with Harrison Township in June of 2007 where he worked in the development department.

Kuntz left Harrison Township in June of 2002 where he performed development services for Washington Township.

He returned to Harrison Township in June of 2007 where he served as assistant director for nearly four years.

Kuntz was named Harrison Township’s development director in 2011, a position he held until he became Clayton’s director of development.

A native of northwest Dayton and a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, Kuntz graduated from Wright State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in urban affairs.

Kuntz is a graduate of Chaminade-Julienne High School.
