Northmont Science Olympiad heading to state

PIQUA — The Northmont High School Science placed second behind Centerville in the Western Regional Tournament held March 16 at Piqua High School.

The Ohio Science Olympiad State Tournament hosted by Ohio State University will take place Saturday, April 27.

The following lists how Northmont students placed in the various Western Regional Tournament categories.

Air Trajectory: 3rd – Hailey Pahl and Ely Bush.

Astronomy: 2nd – Bennett Stouder and Jacob Hobbs.

Chem Lab: 4th – Bennett Stouder and Karsten Strobel.

Codebusters: 5th – Ely Bush, Joel Harvey and Em Gross.
