The following information has been provided by area police departments. The information listed in this column is considered public record and is available to anyone seeking information concerning what is provided below.

For purposes of this column, the term “arrested” or “charged” does not necessarily mean the person was taken into physical custody. It could also indicate that a summons was issued to the subject in lieu of physical custody.

All the people listed as “arrested” or “charged” are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Thursday, Feb. 1, Englewood 240000171: Carlton Threatts, Jr., 35, of Riverside Drive, Dayton 45415, was charged with theft at Meijer. He claimed to have ingested drugs and was taken to Grandview Hospital, issued a court summons and released.

Friday, Feb. 2, Englewood 240000179: Madison L. Nam, 19, of Dayton 45405, was charged with theft at Meijer, issued a court summons and released.

Englewood 240000182: Police responded to Buffalo Wild Wings on the report of an unresponsive subject sitting behind the wheel of a running vehicle. Ronald M. Morrell-Pruitt, 43, of Trotwood, was charged with having physical control of a vehicle while intoxicated and transported to the county jail.

Saturday, Feb. 3, Englewood 240000183: Mary A. Bogard, 45, at large, was arrested on a warrant out of Riverside and transported to the county jail.

Thursday, March 7, Clayton 240000234: Kaleb M. Blakely, 28, of Clayton 45415, was charged with assault of a peace officer. He was taken to Clayton P.D. where his DNA was obtained. He was then transported to the county jail.

Clayton 240000235: An officer on patrol observed a vehicle heading north and then south on State Route 48 at approximately 75 mph. The observed the vehicle back into a parking space in front of Artistic Hair Design. The officer activated his overhead lights and pulled in front of the vehicle. The female driver denied driving reckless, was uncooperative, was yelling and refused to provide her personal information. Patrons and employees in the shopping plaza were stopping what they were doing to watch as the female remained disorderly while using derogatory terms about officers and screaming, repeatedly stating that she did not like white people. Eboni N. Turner, 28, of Dayton 45406, was charged with no turn signal, reckless operation, illegal plates, and disorderly conduct and transported to the county jail.

Friday, March 8, Brookville 2400058: The top of a Rumpke trash truck struck the branches of a tree at the intersection of Villa and Brookside drives causing the tree to collapse onto a power line. Brookville Fire Department closed the affected section of roadway and AES responded to the scene. AES contacted a tree trimming crew to remove the tree branches from the power line and fix the power pole. Approximately 150 homes lost electric service.

Brookville 2400059: A 2018 Jeep Cherokee driving south on Albert Road sustained a broken axle, drove off the roadway and struck an electric pole. The driver was not injured and was transported home by a police officer.

Monday, March 11, Brookville 2400062: Mammy Kalani, 24, of Brookville, was charged with driving under financial responsibility act suspension. Her vehicle was impounded. She was issued a court summons and the officer provided her a courtesy ride home.

Brookville 2400063: A 2018 Jeep Wrangler traveling south on Arlington Road veered into the northbound lane, drove over the curb, struck a traffic light pole, rolled over once, and landed on its top. The driver stated he started coughing and the next thing he knew he was upside down in his vehicle. He was not injured. Bret D. Sullivan, 25, of Brookville, was charged with failure to maintain reasonable control and released with a court summons.

Thursday, March 14, Brookville: A motorist driving south on Arlington Road at Wolf Creek Street struck a pot hole causing his vehicle’s tie rod to come off. The road had holes from work by city work crews and the gravel was missing making it hazardous for vehicles. The road department responded and filled the holes with gravel.

Friday, March 15, Brookville: A female subject sleeping outside the side entrance of Holiday Inn Express was trespassed from the property.

Union 24000000100: John P. Hayes, 24, of Dayton 45416, was charged with theft at his place of employment, Amazon. He was transported to the county jail.

Sunday, March 17, Union 24000000104: The theft of two wallets from a vehicle was reported on Walden Farm Circle. One of the wallets was found by a resident on Marrett Farm Road. The second wallet was found by another resident in the street by Lynnfield Circle. Purchases were made with two of the victims credit cards. Blocks were then placed on their remaining credit cards.

Monday, March 18, Union 24000000106: Jamell E. Morrison, 24, of Dayton 45417, was charged with theft at his place of employment, Amazon. He was transported to the county jail.
