CLAYTON — Have you ever felt a little bit odd? A little bit different? There’s a place for you to come and revel in the oddities of life.

The Northmont Drama Club is proud to present the dreary, loveable, laughable musical The Addams Family, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare.

Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met.

And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia.

Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.

The play features Carson Stone, Karsten Strobel, Sophi Fritz, Abriella Ruby, Sophia Gorretta, Sydney Asbra, James Paul, Liam Gnaizdowski and a slew of other talented performers.

The performances for The Addams Family will be Thursday, April 18, Friday, April 19, and Saturday, April 20 at 7 p.m. with the house opening at 6:30 p.m.

There will also be a matinee performance on Sunday, April 21 at 2 p.m. with the house opening at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
