Twin Valley South

The Panthers earned their second victory of the season Wednesday by defeating Tri-Village 9-2.

Laiden Carver earned the victory. In six innings of work he scattered four hits, allowed two runs with two walks and five strike outs. Chandler Ulrich pitched one inning in relief with no hits, no runs, one walk and one strike out.

Zach Cook led the Panthers offense with three hits in four at bats, had a stolen base and three RBIs. Ulrich went three for five with two doubles and scored twice. Seth Carver went one for four with a stolen base, one run and two RBIs.

Parker Howard went two for three with a stolen base and one run. Brayden Childers went one for three with one run. Tyler Wampler went one for four with two runs and an RBI.

Cais Kingsley drew a pair of walks and had one RBI. Keaton Watts drew a walk, scored a run, and had one RBI.

Tri-Village starting pitcher Ayman Stephens pitched one inning and gave up three hits and four runs, one earned, with three walks. Lucas Brown pitched six innings, allowed eight hits and four runs, three earned, with a walk and two strike outs.

Stephens went one for three with a double and one RBI. Lucas Howell went one for three with a stolen base and one run. Trey Homan went one for three and Lucas Brown went one for three. Jaiden Brown drove in a run and Lane Bierly stole two bases.

Twin Valley South improved to 2-11 overall and 2-7 in conference play. Tri-Village fell to 4-12 and 0-8.

National Trail

The Blazers scored a 3-1 victory Wednesday at Franklin Monroe to improve to 8-11 overall and 5-5 in conference play while the Jets fell to 7-11 and 3-5.

Mason Leal earned the victory. He pitched all seven innings, scattered four hits, allowed one run with two walks and six strike outs.

Freshman Nick Clark led the Blazers with three hits in three at bats with a double and one stolen base. Cooper Smith went two for three. Braylon Coffey went one for three with a run and one RBI. Kellen Laird went two for four with a stolen base and one run.

Chase Ruebush went one for three and scored one run. Jamison Watts had a sacrifice fly for one RBI.

Brandt Filburn took the loss for the Jets. He gave up 10 hits and two earned runs with one walk and two strike outs in seven innings of work.

Matthew Hurley led Franklin Monroe with three hits in three at bats with a double and scored one run. Landon Osborn went one for three.

Northmont

The Thunderbolts suffered a 3-0 loss at home Monday to Beavercreek to fall to 6-15 overall and 3-9 in conference play while the Beavers improved to 14-6 and 8-3.

Brady Whitaker took the loss for Northmont. He allowed four hits and two earned runs over seven innings with one walk and two strike outs.

Chase Fuduloff, Cooper Lykins, Jamir Ross, Drake Sauber, and Mason Wolf each had a hit for the Thunderbolts.

Owen Roether earned the victory for Beavercreek. He pitched seven innings, scattered five hits, issued one walk, and struck out four. Roether also had two hits in three at bats with a triple, scored one run and had one RBI.

Anthony Wright went one for three with a double and one run. Gavin Grimm went one for two. Ethan Papalios drew a walk and scored a run.
