EATON — The Preble County Historical Society celebrated Ohio Wildlife Week on Tuesday, April 11, with its 3rd Annual Falcon Show held outside at the Amphitheater.

The Midwest Falconry group from Blanchester entertained the crowd once again, with a variety of species of birds including falcons, hawks, and owls. They presented an educational program full of conservation information and humor along the way, according to PCHS Executive Director Lisa White.

“Birds flew between their handlers, over the crowds heads, swooping very close to the audience,” she said in a press release. “People of all ages had the chance to see these amazing birds up close and learn more about their environments, and their survival skills.”

White issued a special “thank you” to Wings Etc. of Eaton for sponsoring this educational event.
