EATON – There is still time to register for Downtown Eaton Inc.’s special free morning event on Saturday, May 13 — the second annual Mother’s Day Walk, topped off with a Spring Craft Show.

“Spring is in the air! And, so is the kickoff to craft festival season,” organizers said in a recent press release. “Join us for a morning walk around Downtown Eaton followed by local vendor shopping right on Main Street. Bring a friend, the kids, and be ready for some mid-day fun!”

DEI’s Mother’s Day Walk begins at 10 a.m., at the Preble County Courthouse Plaza on Main Street. The Spring Craft Show begins at 11 a.m. downtown and runs through 3 p.m. There will be vendors of all sorts, food trucks, and even a fun bounce house area for the kids.

“Everyone is encouraged to participate, as the walk will take a route through the downtown district with check-ins at area businesses along the way with fun ways to celebrate the day,” DEI President Megan Griffis said.
