PREBLE COUNTY — Bitterly cold weather has been the norm for much of January, with the first real accumulating snow finally falling late last week creating slick roads. Despite a warm-up expected this week, on Monday, evening Jan. 22, a winter weather advisory was again in effect until Tuesday, with up to a tenth of an inch of total ice accumulations from freezing rain expected. The remainder of the week is forecast to be a rainy one, with temperatures near and in the 50s.
