WEST ALEXANDRIA —Brookvile’s boys track team won six events en route to winning the Fred Durkle Invitational, hosted by Twin Valley South, on Friday, April 12.
The Blue Devils won five sprints and one field event to tally 119 points to easily outdistance runner-up Ansonia (82 points).
Eaton was sixth with 51 points, Twin Valley South was seventh with 50.33, Tri-Count North was ninth with 28, Preble Shawnee was 11th with 19.33 and National Trail was 12th with 19.
On the girls side, Brookville was the highest area finishing team, placing fourth with 81.33 points. Eaton was sixth with 47, Twin Valley South was 10th with 23, National Trail was 11th with 14, and Preble Shawnee was 12th with 13.83.
